Day 2 Match Blog (Till Lunch):

The second day's play began with East Zone resuming their innings at 32/2, still trailing Central Zone by 150 runs. However, it was Central Zone's bowlers who dominated the morning session, taking quick wickets and restricting East Zone's progress.

S.K. Gharami and S. Nadeem tried to stabilize the innings but fell victim to S. Kumar, who picked up two crucial wickets. A. Majumdar also couldn't contribute much as he was caught by Upendra Yadav off Yash Thakur's bowling.

Riyan Parag provided some resistance, scoring a valuable 33 runs before being dismissed by Shivam Mavi. The Central Zone bowlers continued their impressive performance as wickets fell at regular intervals. Kumar Kushagra, S. Ahmed, Akash Deep, and Ishan Porel all failed to make significant contributions.

However, M. Murasingh showed resilience and displayed some aggressive strokeplay, scoring an unbeaten 30 runs to take East Zone's total to 122 all out. Rinku Singh's brilliant run-out ended the innings.

S. Kumar was the pick of the bowlers for Central Zone, claiming three wickets. Shivam Mavi and Yash Thakur also chipped in with two wickets and one wicket, respectively, while Avesh Khan contributed with one wicket as well.

With a first-innings lead of 60 runs, Central Zone will now have the opportunity to build on their advantage in the second innings. The match is finely poised, and both teams will be eager to gain the upper hand in the upcoming sessions.
