 The morning session on the third day of the Duleep Trophy match between North Zone (NZ) and North East Zone (NEZ) witnessed a dominant display by the North Zone bowlers. NEZ, who started the day at 65/3, looked to stage a comeback with the bat but were quickly dismissed for just 134 runs.

In their first innings, NEZ struggled to build partnerships as the North Zone bowlers applied pressure and picked up wickets at regular intervals. Siddharth Kaul was the standout performer, taking crucial wickets to disrupt NEZ's batting lineup.

 After dismissing NEZ for 134, it was now North Zone's turn to bat in their second innings. However, they also faced early setbacks, losing two wickets before the lunch break. At the end of the morning session, North Zone was at 57/2, with the batsmen looking to stabilize the innings and build a solid partnership.
