Nishant SindhuResuming their innings, Nishant Sidhu and Pulkit Narang looked to add valuable runs for NZ. Nishant showed remarkable composure and skill as he reached his well-deserved century. He played a magnificent knock, scoring 150 runs before being caught by Langlonyamba off the bowling of Imliwati. Nishant's innings laid a solid foundation for NZ.

Harshit Rana
 Harshit Rana, known for his explosive batting, joined the crease and immediately stamped his authority. He unleashed a flurry of boundaries and sixes, taking the NEZ bowlers by storm. Harshit's aggressive approach paid off as he scored a scintillating century, smashing 122 runs off just 86 deliveries. His innings was filled with 12 fours and 9 sixes, showcasing his power-hitting abilities.

 NZ batsmen displayed tremendous resilience, taking the team's score to a formidable 540/8. NEZ bowlers had a tough time containing the NZ batsmen, struggling to break partnerships and stem the flow of runs.

NEZ faced an uphill battle as they began their first innings. However, their hopes were quickly dampened as Kishan Lyndoh and Thankuma fell early, dismissed by Siddharth Kaul and Beltej Singh respectively. Nilesh Lamichaney showed some resistance with a patient 35*.

 Captain R. Jonathan contributed 15 runs before being trapped lbw by Harshit Rana's. Langlonyamba's stay at the crease was short-lived as he departed after scoring just one run. NEZ found themselves struggling at 65/3 at the end of the day's play, still trailing NZ by a significant margin of 475 runs.

 NEZ will have a challenging task ahead as they aim to overcome the massive deficit in the remaining innings. NZ's bowlers displayed great discipline and skill throughout the day, restricting the NEZ batsmen's scoring opportunities.
